PARLOUR STUDIO

Trained at the RCA as an illustrator I worked as freelance for many years, and taught degree students at the Kent Institute of Art and Design. Since moving back to the isle of Wight I  have specialised in painting in oils inspired local land sea and cityscapes and ceramic's.

I love working with ceramic's the medium presents endless possibility, working  in stoneware and earthenware, in my coral collection and feather/butterfly collection I utilise the strength of earthenware paper clay creating fine and delicate structures pushing the medium to its limits. 

My work is always inspired by the natural world including creatures and animals I'm currently working on bird sculptures including cheeky sea gulls pheasants, and partridge and guinea fowl.
